Kirsty Keating: I have a BA Hons degree in German and Russian from the University of Exeter. I started my career in marketing with German companies, before moving into communications. I have almost always been a contractor so have a wide range of experience from a variety of industries, internal and external communications, events, social media, web and intranet.
In my 20-year career I have worked with different brand, style, and channel guidelines, giving me expert knowledge of communications application. I have written presentations and blogs for senior leaders, storyboards and scripts, reports and articles, website and intranet pages, and so much more. I can help you create professional, consistent content, and if necessary, develop a style and tone that suits your business and target audiences.
Richard Keating: I have a BA Hons degree in German and Russian, and a Masters degree in Translating and Interpreting, both from the University of Bath. I pursued a career in translation and worked as the senior managing editor for a legal translation firm before going freelance.
As the translation industry has moved to AI driven technologies, I now provide proofreading, editing, and formatting services for content from a variety of sources and industries. I can ensure your communications are client ready by reviewing content for errors, inconsistencies, and layout with a professionally trained eye for detail.
As a husband and wife team we have a 20+ year partnership and a combined professional experience of 40 years from a variety of global brands.
When we're not working, we can be found enjoying the beautiful New Forest where we live with our two small children. We also volunteer with community groups such as the village pre-school and youth hub.
